NEW Screen-Free Tech Items for Children
We recently added 2 types of screen-free entertainment for children: Whazoodles and Tonies! These can be found in the Children’s Library.
Tonies:
- Story Time Tonies play screen-free audio stories that are ideal for sparking imagination! Perfect for bedtime routines, quiet times, or car rides, the captivating narratives help to build vocabulary and foster independent play without screens.
- You will need a Tonie box to use these. Tonie box not available for checkout
Whazoodles:
- Designed to guide kids ages 3 – 12 through learning, movement, relaxation, and mindfulness, WhaZoodle lets kids choose and explore their own exciting adventures. No Wi-Fi, downloads, or extra pieces required!
- Topics include problem solving/math, nature, reading/language, creativity/music, animals, fantasy/fairy tales, and engineering/technology.
