Here are some updates on what is going on at McCord…
The Friends of the Library’s Used Book Sale raised over $1,400 for the library! This money supports the various programs and events at the library, as well as the library’s collection.

In October, McCord implemented a new software to manage the public computers. This means that instead of signing in at the desk, you can sign yourself in on the computer using your library card number. If you don’t have a library card, you can ask for a guest pass at the circulation desk. As we continue to train our staff and teach patrons how to use the new software, please be patient. We thank you in advance.

Daylight savings ends November 5th – turn your clocks back 1 hour on Sunday!
McCord Library will be CLOSED for Thanksgiving November 23-26
Program information
Children programs include:
- Fire safety on Wednesday November 1st & Thursday November 2nd
- Therapy dogs on November 15th
- Thanksgiving crafts all month long
- Story time will not occur on November 7th -9th and November 23rd.
Teen programs include:
- Graphic Novel Book Club – Tuesday, November 14th at 4:00. Join us as we talk about Graphic Novels and participate in our Complete the Comic activity. Snacks provided!
