Blind Date with a Book Reviews
Book: Into the mist Author: P.C. Cast
- After a green mist occurs, people change or die. This story follows a group of teachers wo have to find a safe place to stay and also come to teens with their new world and the changes happening to them. It’s a familiar story told well but I didn’t like that it’s not a stand alone–the story continues/finishes in the next book.

Book: Second chance at Sunshine Inn Author: Amy Clipston
- Enjoyable read. Amy made the characters easy to relate to. Love the positive attitude of the main character. Great book for this “Blind Date” and valentine themed event. The last chapter takes place on Valentine’s Day!

Book: Murder in Highbury Author: Vanessa Kelly
- I love these “blind date” books. I probably would not have chosen this one, but since I had it I enjoyed reading about Emma (based on Jane Austen’s Emma.) I never solved the mystery of the murderer until “Emma” figured it out!

Book: Beyond resonable doubt Author: Robert Dugoni
- This was an exceptionally good read/date. I would spend my time with Robert Dugoni again. He mixes real issues and happenings in with day to day events. I particularly liked the venue.

It is captivating as you enter the world of the Harlem Renaissance and get transported to the literary world of through the eyes of a powerful and talented main character- Jessie Redmon Fauset.
