Blind Date with a Book

• Check out a book from our “Blind Date” Display (located on the Main Level). Each book is wrapped in paper so that it remains a mystery until checked out. Take it home, read it, and submit a review by February 28.
• Select reviews will be posted in the March Books ‘n Banter.
• Each review counts as an entry to win a $20 Walmart gift card and a “Libraries are Life” t-shirt size large.

Valentine Quilling Class

• 2 Sessions Available!
  • Monday, February 9 @ 10:00am
  • Tuesday, February 10 @ 5:30pm
    • Cost: $5
• Pre-Registration required
  • Must register and pay by February 4
• Learn the basics of quilling in this hands-on workshop. Each participant will make a valentine card with their new quilling skills

Disney Trivia

• March 10 @ 6:00
  • Think you’re an expert on all things Disney? Join us for this fun-filled Disney themed trivia!
    • Participants must be 16 years or older. Teams can range from 2-6 players. Each member on the winning team will receive a $10 gift card.
    • Pre-Register by March 7.

STEAM Club

    • Join us every first Monday of the month for STEAM Club. We will have activities available such as Beebots, Marble Runs, Legos, and more!

Read and Create

• Wednesdays at 4:00
  • Grades K-5
• Join us after school from 4-4:30 each Wednesday for an interactive program for kids in grades K-5! We’ll enjoy a read-aloud followed by themed activities, games, or crafts based on the book.
• The first meeting of each month features a “Book vs. Movie” showdown where we read a book, watch a short clip, and play a game to test your knowledge! (No need to have watched the movie.)

What is Dial-A-Story?

• Dial-a-Story is a library program that is available 24/7! Call 814-347-8318 to hear a story read to you. Stories are available in English and Spanish. English stories change weekly and the Spanish story changes monthly.
