Library Updates:

Annual Appeal

McCord Memorial Library’s Annual Appeal raises money that is used for maintaining the building, purchasing new books, and many other aspects that keep the library open to the community. We are 80% to our goal of $10,000. Our hope this year is to offset the cost of replacing/repairing our elevator.

Building Maintenance

Last year we made many building repairs; including painting, plastering, repointing, and repairing. Buildings, especially older buildings, don’t last forever and little bits an pieces can chip off. There is also the dreaded specter of water that attacked downstairs last year. Thank you for those that donated to our building fund and our annual appeal in previous years.
