Registration for Summer Reading
There is still time to register for Summer Reading!
Children can register in the Lower Level at the Children’s Desk. Teens and Adults register upstairs at the Main Desk. Prizes are available for kids and teens when they check out books and complete your summer activities!
Adults are eligible to win weekly prizes by filling out their entry slips for each book they finish and their activity card entry.
What do you get when you register?
Children will receive a bag that includes a reading log, stickers, McDonald’s coupon, mini magnifying glass, and scavenger hunt. Along with a free book!
Teens will receive a Bingo sheet, bookmark, a coupon for Little Shop of Donuts, The Straw Hat, or McDonalds, and some other fun prizes.
Adults will receive a bookmark, compass, entry slips for prizes, adventure activity sheet, and a list of activities offered throughout the summer.
All registration prizes are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Dial-A-Story
New story every week! What is Dial-A-Story?
Dial-a-Story is a library program that is available 24/7! Call 814-347-8318 to hear a story read to you. Stories are available in English and Spanish. English stories change weekly and the Spanish story changes monthly. Call as many times as you want!
