Happy December!

This month we have some fun updates as well as some important hours closures.

McCord Library is closed December 22-December 26 for Christmas and December 29- January 1 for New Years.

The Friends of the Library are decorating the library for Christmas on December 6, at 3:00, and the Board of Directors will meet December 13, at 3:00.

McCord’s Annual Appeal is underway. All North East residents received a brochure and envelope, detailing this year’s goals. If you have not received one feel free to call the library at (814) 725-4057 or stop by the circulation desk. Donations can be made by mail or dropped off in person. Thank you North East community!

We are continuing to weed our books. If a book you are looking for has been weeded and withdrawn, no need to worry; we have ways of getting a copy from other libraries! Thanks to Interlibrary Loan we are able to borrow books from any library in Pennsylvania. This service is provided free of charge to Pennsylvania residents.
